About Cameron Dalton
I am currently pursuing a double degree in a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Actuarial Science at Bond University, to which this combination enables me to cultivate a unique blend of analytical, legal, and mathematical expertise. I served as the Vice-President (Sport) of the overarching student association on campus, within this role I required significant organisational, time management, and leadership abilities to coordinate events, manage meetings, lead a dedicated team, and oversee all the sporting activities for students and staff on campus. Additionally, I have served on the university’s disciplinary board where I respond to cases of student misconduct and determine the appropriate penalties. This responsibility has directly contributed to my legal studies, sharpening my analytical skills and deepening my understanding of judicial processes and ethical considerations.

Student Residential Fellow
- To establish a welcoming environment for students living on campus.- To assist students living on campus with their daily activities.- To respond in emergency situations as a fire warden and emergency officer.- To provide support to students living away from home.
Vice-President (Sport)
As per election by the Bond University Student Association Committee, I manage the Sport pod to enhance the student life at Bond through sporting clubs and events. Through this role I work closely with Bond Sport and the university to oversee and organise numerous sporting clubs on campus which contribute to the betterment of the Bond community and the student experience. Due to the fiscal responsibilities held by certain members of BUSA, I must ensure that the operation of all sporting clubs are conducted in accordance to SSAF guidelines, Bond Sport regulations and the university requirements. Hence, I will aim to observe the clubs activities and their impact on the Bond community.A main goal is to strengthen the connection and relationship between Bond Sport staff and the students, and I aspire to construct a website and social media platform which aims to contain all sports club information to make this more accessible to students and staff. As a result, more students and staff will be informed and potentially more inclined to attend social sport competitions or sporting events organised by the clubs. It is essential that I am able to assist in communicating efficiently and effectively with all sport club members as well as respective staff members. With this, it is important that I organise meetings twice a semester to inform the club members of forthcoming information/events which may be of interest to their club and/or is a compulsory requirement.Through overseeing the sports clubs and their events, I also organise and assist Bond Sport with the Australian UniNationals. This allows Bond students to compete against other universities in Australia for their respective sports. Furthermore, I am determined to continue UniNationals for Indigenous Australian's to provide equal opportunity to all individuals at Bond.
Finance Liaison
As per election by the Bond University Student Association Committee, I work within the recreational executive pod to enhance the student life at Bond through clubs and societies which are responsible for the organisation of social events, academic workshops, and career specific opportunities. Through this role, I assist the treasurer to oversee the semesterly budgets for the large variety of clubs at Bond University to support any events which may enhance the student experience at Bond. As the treasurer determines the allocation of the Student Services and Administrative Fees (SSAF) per trimester across the administrative, sporting, cultural, and education clubs and societies within the campus, I assist in communicating to the treasurer the potential increase or decrease of funding to certain clubs which have or have not upheld university and club requirements.Furthermore, I work not only with students within BUSA and university clubs, but also numerous other Bond Staff members who assist with the instalment and the activities of societies on campus, as well as staff who determine the financial allocation to BUSA to distribute amongst all clubs and societies at Bond. Due to the fiscal responsibilities held by certain members of BUSA, I must ensure that the utilisation of SSAF allocations by clubs and societies are upholding SSAF and Bond requirements. Hence, the activities and events held by each university club is to be constantly observed and analysed to ensure such club actions create a positive impact on Bond and the greater community.
