I was an outdoor goods and equipment sales specialist. I had to know all about the product we carried and how to use them since we had customers that would come in wanting to learn about canoeing, kayaking, rock climbing, camping, how to get their bike fixed, hiking, and what kind of clothing and accessories they needed for their trips.

I was a lifeguard for the lake that we had at the summer camp i worked at called YMCA Camp Ocoee. We had to be on duty all throughout the day as kids came to the lake and we would have to watch as many as 60 kids at a time. Because i was a lifeguard I had to be certified in CPR and First Aid as well as other medical skills to help save someone that is.

I was hired to be a stayover camp counselor for 9 weeks at Camp Ocoee where we would have different groups of kids each week ranging from ages 6-16. We would have to know how to do all the activities at the summer camp as well as take our own cabins on camping trips and monitor the kids and be leaders for them to help them gain life experiences and help.
