I spend most of my days playing with genomic sequence data to derive biological insights. Currently interested in transmission and pathogen evolution at the human-animal interface (i.e., animal-->human, human-->animal, human-->animal-->human). More broadly, I am interested in figuring out the molecular/ecological determinants of zoonotic outbreaks, and how to pre-empt and prevent them.
