Company is a electronic component manufacturer/distributor/representative in Taiwan. Galaxy Far East Corp. was acquired by Macnica Group in 2010.I worked for the company from 1994 to 2002. Re-joined in 2007. (Total 17 years)Function:- Handled the marketing and sales of carrying lines (experienced: Altair, Silicon Motion, Micrel, Intersil, etc.) - Led the teams to work with technical services and operation teams to ensure full service to account needs - Managed own chips' (Tenor, USB 2.0 audio controllers) hardware/ software/ firmware design & backend manufacturing (from masks to chips), development package offering, marketing and sales channel control Achievement:- Sales Growth of Altair (LTE baseband/RF) product line up to US$40M from $1.4M in 4 years- Sales Growth of Micrel (Analog IC) product lines up to US$28M from $6M in 6 years- Successfully promoted GFEC’s own USB audio controllers to worldwide. The chips were used in Denon & Marantz, TEAC, Accuphase, Luxman, Sony, Linderman, nuForce, McIntosh, etc.
