As the Lead Properties Artisan, I was responsible for creating props, furniture and set dressing for each show in the current season. That included designing and fabricating furniture from beginning to end, including any upholstery. Items were crafted or built based on a scenic designs, or if no design existed I worked as part as a team to produce fully realized props. In addition to the creation of props, I participated in dressing the set, and making sure all props and set dressing were actor safe and show ready. I maintained safe and sanitary food practices for any food or liquid consumed by the actors. My work also included daily maintenance and organization of the department's workshop, tools and existing stock. It's the 93rd Annual MLB All-Stars Game! As the set decorator, I was responsible for creating multiple museum-style displays throughout the All-Stars event. Each display tailored to it's location, they included MLB artifacts, such as Olympic medals, original jerseys and sports gear, and other American treasures. Additionally, I designed and installed replica locker interiors of 12 All-Star players, which included mementos, hobbies, photos and more, intended to give audiences and fans a small glimpse into the players' lives both on and off the field.

As a props designer for Book-It Repertory Theatre, I've designed and built props for six world premiers. For these shows I worked with a team of designers to take a production from beginning concepts to fully realized theatre. I worked closely with scenic designers, directors and writers to help create and define the world of the play. All furniture, set dressing, and props were my responsibility to build or source. All work was done within budget constraints and I properly managed all receipts and budget reports. Shows with Book-It include:A Tale for the Time Being, Treasure Island, Welcome to Braggsville, I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings, American Junkie, and Everything is Illuminated.
