The Good Street Learning Center, Inc. is a Christian Child Development Center established in 1952. We emphasize developmentally appropriate curriculum for all ages as well as a character building program which introduces virtues with songs and stories. Located in the South Dallas/Fair Park area, we offer convenience for families living and/or working in Downtown Dallas, Pleasant Grove, and South Dallas. We are a full day, 12-months per year operational, licensed facility encouraging each child to play and work well independently and in groups. The program includes directed learning experiences which occur when children are gathered into organized small or large groups for a specific activity with one another. Each classroom enjoys low staff-child ratios for optimum quality of care. Classroom staff receive 15 plus hours of training annually, exclusive of CPR and First-Aid training. Staff members are also encouraged and supported in their higher education goals which include CDA certification, AA, and BA degrees.
