We are an R&D team and Ghent University spin-off focused on understanding, predicting and changing people's behavior at work. Through the lean collection, evaluation and integration of the best-available scientific knowledge (reviews) and field data (analytics, field experiments) we support executives and policy-makers in evidence-based decision-making. We help them to increase the success rate of their HR decisions or personnel-related policy-making. We also develop innovative HR tools (e.g. psychometric test, training protocol, serious game) to help businesses and organizations to bring out the best in their people. In this we wish to serve as a co-sourcing and innovation partner for HR management service & consultancy providers and aim for scalable solutions that create new business for our clients. Teaching assistent for the course "Behavioral Economics", lectured by prof. Barbara Briers.

I worked mainly on two Research & Development projects. In collaboration with CREAX (www.creax.com), we developed and validated a simulation test for measuring professionals' ability to innovate. For more information, please check www.innduce.me. The second project, 'Technopreneurship voor iedereen', was funded by the Flemish government. This project aims to encourage and develop technological entrepreneurship among the students of Ghent University through technopreneurial education initiatives. Our mission in this project was to develop an assessment tool to measure a student's enrepreneurial potential, so as to students can get more insight in their potential to become an entrepreneur and get development feedback. Hunchup was launched on the 14th of September 2015. The VIGOR Unit holds an exclusive license for the valorization of Hunchup outside the Ghent University Association. We are currently investigating how Hunchup could be offered internationally to other higher-education institutions. Also service providers are showing interest in including Hunchup in their services for starting entrepreneurs. Aiming to provide an evidence-based and helpful tool for future entrepreneurs, The VIGOR Unit is committed to on-going research in order to continuously improve Hunchup's reliability and user experience.
