After Initial aproval of AEB management for this phase, I was member of the Tender Team responsible for the Proces, Mass-balance and lay-out of the Huishoudelijk Afval Sorteer (HHAS) plant with the objectives to maximize the Recovery, and the Purity of valuable Commodities from Black-Back MSW waste, and securing the highest possible Availability of the HHAS plant. Further I was involved in the bidding procedure, valuating the bids of the several Consortia and the selection of a preferred bidder. After the consortium selection and contract awarding phase I was involved in the verification of the final design with reference to the recycling concept proposed by the winning Consortium, this also included the verification of the dust supression system, minimizing the dust and odour emission of the HHAS Plant. By the end of 2017, one of the most advanged and automated MSW black-bag waste recycling plants will be operational at AEB Amsterdam. The HHAS plant will be running 24/7, with an annual processing capacity of 300.000 ton/year.
