Within this role, I liaise with suppliers on a global scale, managing a portfolio of in excess of 200 contracts. These equate to over 70% of the organisations suppliers, and over 80% of the revenue generating products.I manage the full purchasing lifecycle, gaining the trust and confidence of clients and acting as a respected advisor. In this role, I managed a property portfolio of 4000+ properties, and all aspects of business rates liabilities. I acted on behalf of clients including JD Wetherspoon Plc, Stonegate Pub Company, Lloyds TSB, IBM UK Ltd, The Body Shop, and Cash Converters. I held responsibility for financial transactions totalling in excess of £28 million per annum and monthly payments in excess of £4.5 million.I regularly liaised with external clients, local authorities and government agencies, acting as a communication hub rectifying telephone and email queries, and managing up to 60 cases simultaneously.I provided leadership to a diverse team, managing local recruitment processes including shortlisting and carrying out selection interviews.
