My job role involved undertaking projects using Aluminium, glass and PVC systems from the value up to and in excess of £1,300,000 starting from internal handover, developing design, value engineering, draughting (internal and external), fabrication (internal and external), buying, installation and valuations/invoicing. Responsible for ensuring a team delivers successfully several contracts at any one time. Since 2004 i have help build the business from £2.5m turnover to £6,5m turnover in 2008 and maintain a te turnover throughout the recent economic downturn..I have knowledge of systems such as Kawneer, Aluprof, Metal technology, Schuco, Smart Systems, Comar, Rehau, SAPA, Raynors. All programs are planned in Microsoft project and it is my responsibility to ensure the programs are delivered on time and to budget. I have good IT skills and a good Knowledge of ACAD.In addition I have been developing the companies procedures for the business internally and site based to ensure Fortress achieve Achilles, Chas and main contractor's competence audits. I currently plan the fabrication work for the shop floor and the design team drawing schedule. I also deal with all health and safety requirement for the company external and internal training requirements of the company.

My job roles and responsibilities involved briefly the following; Site Surveying, Project Management, Contract Meetings, Maintenance Manager (including all administration), Fabrication works, CAD system Management and Development, Quality Control, Health and Safety, Maintenance Contracts, Estimating, Contract Administration, Transport management, Design, Approval and Manufacturing Drawings, Purchasing, Stock Taking, Research and Development, Sales. The reason for leaving was to further my career.
