I lead a team of 8, in a diverse range of business support and specialist roles. My role has two overarching accountabilities:- owns the Quality Management System, including document control, drawing management, technical writing, ISO9001 certification and the business improvement system. There are 4 roles in the team performing this work.- owns the training support function for the Operations and Field part of the business, including training needs analysis, records, staff development and competency. There are 4 roles performing this work: 3 Training Coordinators and an Apprentice & Trainee Coordinator.

I manage the organisational training delivery function, out of the wider Learning and Development team. I lead a small team of two L&D Advisors and an L&D Administrator. My role owns the Learning Management System (LMS), training governance, contractor and organisational training requirements and a successful Apprenticeship program including apprenticeships in Process Plant Operations, Mechanical, Electrical, Electrical Instrumentation, Administration & Agriculture.

End to end development of new courses into the vocational business suite, including market testing, development of courseware and marketing activities to launch the new product.Develop governance, quality and administrative processes for trainers in the business suite (VET courses). Ensure compliance with ASQA, AQTF, ESOS and University Pathway requirements. Key achievements: successfully establishing three new business courses, all with steadily increasing student numbers (50% growth every 6 months in the first 5 years, on average) and also very positive student feedback – 96% of finishing students saying they would recommend their course to a friend. Achieving a low attrition rate throughout the course and consistently high retention of students to the next level course.
