As Senior Associate for Interior Design, Ceilidh leads the DJRD interior design team across a range of interior design projects including workplace, education and multi residential. In the last 12 months the DJRD interiors team has grown with a number of significant projects. Projects recently completed or under construction include the Origin Adelaide Workplace (9,000m2), UTS FSU & HRU Workplace (2,400m2) and the Refurbishment of Roden Cutler House (19,000m2).Ceilidh is involved across all project stages from business development, concept design, space planning and briefing though to documentation and construction stage.Ceilidh also supports the DRJD BIM manager is developing Revit standards, tools and on the job staff training.

Ceilidh led GHD's Interior Design team in Sydney working as Senior Interior Architect and Project Director for Interior Design. As Senior Interior Architect, Ceilidh lead or worked as a team member in multi disciplinary teams delivering significant interior design projects across Australia.Key Responsibilities:• Preparing tenders and fee submissions;• Preparing return briefs and room data sheets;• Accommodation studies and space planning; • Preparing concept designs;• Liaison with clients and contractors;• Briefing and coordinating the interior design and consultant team;• Preparing detailed interior design details and documentation for custom items, specialty areas, joinery, finishes and furniture selections;• Preparing project documentation including specifications;• Reviewing design work and documentation prepared by others;• Advice, research and submissions for GreenStar;• Managing fees and programmes;• Quality assurance and safety;• Construction phase activities including contract administration.Other Duties:• Active with GHD’s BIM community providing interior design input for Revit implementation and development and providing assistance and training for all disciplines with GHD and presenting at internal and external seminars and conferences;• Assisting with business development and marketing for Interior Design in the NSW/ACT region;• Assisting with team planning including business planning, programming and allocating resources;• Liaison with other offices’ Interior Design teams including gathering content for GHD Interiors first website and Workplace Design Competency statement;• Running Job Manager and Quality assurance training including involvement in developing program content.
