Charles Kesl, Owner/Operator/Manager of Batteries Plus Bulbs in Miami Lakes, Florida, located at the Palmetto Expy and Red Rd/57th Ave, in the Home Depot-anchored center, next to AT&T. http://www.batteriesplus.com Select store 349 Miami Lakes.Charles also worked as Director of Academic Technology at The New School in NYC. Charles started at The New School and Parsons planning the "Knowledge Union", a model of the collaborative, cross-disciplinary technology lab. Charles went on to direct the KU, other integrated facilities university-wide and online services. Charles earned his MS in Journalism at the University of Illinois, where he received a Hearst Award and the James Brady Scholarship and joined the faculty to develop environmental education media. Charles produced, shot and edited and documentaries airing on PBS and including profiles of homeless women and children, a civil rights leader's biography and the story of a historic cinema's fight for survival. Charles is an avid photographer, painter and sailor.
