After more than 10 years of work in management I decided it was time for my life to go in a new direction. I always had a love for software development and it's potential to elevate the human experience and chose to take what was a hobby and turn it into a career.I enrolled in college, not just for the degree, but for the challenge and to sharpen my skills by absorbing as much information as possible. I finished both my Associates and Bachelors in Computer Science with honors.I had the privilege of working at MIAC Analytics as a Full Stack Web Development intern during the summer of 2022 and because of my work, was awarded an internship extension through the fall. I was then brought on as a full time employee at the start of 2023.After years of wanting to do something more with my life, I have successfully transitioned what was once a passionate hobby into a fulfilling career in software development. But, this is only the beginning of my journey. I have so much left to learn, experiences to have. I have never been more excited about what the future holds.
