As part of Tetra Tech’s obligations under the Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Cth), Celena assisted in preparing a compliance statement that was submitted to the Australian Border Force. This required Celena to undertake a comprehensive analysis of Tetra Tech’s supply chains against the risks of modern slavery in Pacific.

Celena participated in a course which offered students the opportunity to spend a semester as interns working under the direction of a Member of the State Parliament while completing an agreed research task. Celena was required to conduct intensive research on a single public policy topic (under the guidance of an academic supervisor). This topic of research was studying the resources and policies that exist to support culturally and linguistically diverse students, families and teachers.
