Performing and supporting Disaster Recovery tests working closely with customers including completing testing profile forms, confirming requirements and completing. • Monitoring training requirements on an ongoing basis to ensure optimum team performance.• Working closely with the project team ensuring that specifications of new projects are planned accordingly.• Recognised as the the key focal point of contact for customers, suppliers and contractors regarding Disaster Recovery.• Assessing priorities, allocating timescales and distributing tasks and tickets per level of expertise required.• Supporting multiple customers and remaining calm to reduce customer stress during real invocations.• Responding to customer requests and updating SungardAS ticket system to comply with SLAs.• Providing 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support to end users including being on 24/7 call.• Monitoring and maintaining facilities, IT equipment as well as office and data centre space to prevent damage.• Implementing Health and Safety protocol including delivering safety briefings to site visitors.• Carrying out a range of technical tasks and resolving outages. • Supporting the sales team with securing new business by performing site tours and presentations to prospects.• Providing pre-sales input and guidance regarding the most appropriate customer solutions to offer. Includes on boarding new customers.
