Assigned to Sandia Field Office. Provide program management functions including: planning, directing, and evaluating program activities, developing program goals, and operational plans for program execution of a large number of projects involving Sandia National Laboratories.-Conduct function of Audit Coordinating Officer. Serve as primary liaison with the office of Audits and Internal Affairs NNSA. Coordinate all entrance/exit conferences and prepare all responses to draft and final reports. Conduct all follow-up activities to track audit corrective actions to closure for all Sandia National Laboratory Audits. Monitor 40+ audits at a time.-Aware of all organizational missions and functions in order to elevate time and subject-sensitive packages directly to senior management. Review all subject matter expert submissions for accuracy and completeness.-Deliver oversight of a wide variety of interrelated activities, non-related programs, and institutional-oriented activities that are loosely structured due to the dynamic nature of the research programs and numerous R&D technologies being investigated, including international issues with high political sensitivity.

Assisted in conventionalizing and forming a live analysis tool that will work towards real time monitoring and analysis of stolen and/or missing components that can be used to make nuclear weapons. Asked to join the team due to my data and policy analysis skills, ability to easily understand large amounts of data, and work with a diverse group of individuals. - Conducted interviews with specialists about how potential nuclear related components can be tracked and found.- Analyzed databases with the objective of finding terms and concepts that could be used to assist in the monitoring and analysis of the system being formed.- Extracted data and formed a system of standardization for the unstructured data, which will assist in future standardization of data concerning danger level of stolen or missing nuclear components. This is the first system of standardization to be developed for this type of analysis. - Conducted research and examined the relationship between transnational organized crime, material smuggling, and aspirations to acquired a WMD.

Charged with conducting a cost/benefit analysis on consolidating the Pittsburgh Fire Department (PFD) with the Emergency Management Services Department (EMS) into one. Knowledge of PFD and EMs operations and procedures, as well as knowledge of city policy, procedures, and culture became necessary to conduct my analysis. Was therefore allowed to attend meetings and access any records needed for my analysis. - Concluded that it would be a greater cost to the City of Pittsburgh to shift PFD and EMS into one department than to leave them separate as a new building, training facilities, equipment, culture, etc. would need to be set up for such a large change.

Research Assistant to the Million Veterans Program. A research program partnering with Veterans receiving care in the VA Healthcare System in order to study how genes affect health. In order to do this the Program seeks to build one of the world's largest medical databases by safely collecting blood samples and health information from one million veteran volunteers. The data collected is safely stored anonymously and will be used for research on diseases like diabetes and cancer, military-related diseases like post-traumatic stress disorder and hereditary diseases among many others.
