My name is Celeon Mauricio and I live in Denton, Texas currently enrolled at the University of Texas as a Biology Major. I've lived in Oklahoma for a couple of years before moving to the Dallas/Fort worth area. I was born in the Philippines and have been living in America since 2005. My personal strengths would be being optimistic on most situations that help me to never give up on what task is present towards me currently, being a hard worker and having mental toughness to get the work done no matter what pressure I am on. Some skills I would say I have acquired throughout my life would be some puzzle solving on many different kinds of problems, having a photographic memory and having just great memory in general. Another skill I have are knowledge pertaining to working out and eating healthy for a healthier lifestyle. Some interests I have would be playing video games, playing chess or checkers, problem solving tasks, expanding my knowledge through reading about how certain things in the world works, and keeping up with world events because I find it very important to be aware at all times. Another interest that I hold proudly would be working out and living a healthier lifestyle. My interest and skills would tie in to the medical field through my interests of expanding my knowledge and being able to learn fast and efficiently through hands on work. Since I am also heavily interested in the health of the human body I would say it would be a joy to not only work on people’s health but also help them improve my knowledge regarding the human physiology. Considering in the medical field there are many terminology required to succeed in this field my great memory should help me through this field of work as well. I came from a very small background and I was able to come and live here in America all due to the hard work my parents have sacrificed to and my goal is to continue on their hard work and hopefully inspire others just like my parents have inspired me.
