A collaboration between the SMU Addy Foundation Center on Research and Evaluation (CORE) and the Walton Family Foundation (WFF). The primary goal of this fellowship is to encourage collaboration between evaluators and funders to achieve impactful and effective social change. Activites:• Supported WFF's learning and evaluation department through the creation of grantee metrics, grantee learning reports, research grantmaking, and strategy reflection• Engaged in collaborative project management, setting evaluation priorities, designing methodologies, managing timelines, and fostering client relationships, resulting in the timely completion of objectives and the delivery of comprehensive reports and presentations• Developed an evaluation framework for an afterschool program, including the creation of a theory of change and logic model, ensuring alignment with program goals and funder expectations• Directed a pilot evaluation project, overseeing the assessment of program implementation, testing of data collection tools, and preparation for in-depth outcome analysis, improving the program's effectiveness• Executed comprehensive evaluation processes, including literature reviews, survey design, quantitative and qualitative data analysis, and reporting

The Population Research Center's Trainee Program is a graduate-level initiative designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge required to conduct advanced research in population studies.Participation includes enrolling in courses related to demography or population studies and attending weekly seminars focused on current research in demography and population studies.Courses included:General Approaches to the Study of Population (Spring 2019)Training Seminar in Demography (Fall 2020)
