Spring 2022, Summer 2022, Spring 2023: Teach undergraduate and graduate students foundations of biochemistry. Grading exams and homework in a timely manner. Providing useful, and relevant feedback to students.Fall 2022: Lead a semester long project surrounding protein structure and function for 95 students. Grade exercises, scientific essays, and protein structures through Molsoft software. Provide relevant feedback on submissions, ensure projects meet academic standards, and review student student submissions for accuracy. Fall 2022: Develop an online Protein Structure and Functional Exploration (PSAFE) project with Pearson Education. Create content videos, and tutorials to introduce students to ideas in protein structure, protein isolation, and Molsoft.

Maintain up to date knowledge surrounding molecular exercise physiology, particularly with new studies in the metabolic activator AMPK. Conduct biochemical experiment or tests, including cell cultures, protein purification, gel electropheresis, Western Blot, PCR, and kinetic assays. Document experimental findings, and analyze data. Participate in weekly lab meetings, and journal club.

Helping students navigate mathematical and conceptual understanding of introductory college chemistry and calculus courses.

Develop skills of safety, technique, and speed for swimmers age 5-18 on the summer swim team. Ensure safety and success of all swimmers. Create a fall swim swim program for introductory swimmers in order to maintain swimming skills developed over the previous summer. Coach the existing fall swim program for intermediate and advanced swimmers to build upon technical skills for improving speed, confidence, and success in competitive swimmign environments.
