Passionate educator with nine years of experience in the classroom, I've dedicated my career to fostering creativity and working to ensure my classroom provides children with a sense of belonging.I firmly believe in the transformative power of the outdoors for children's development. As an advocate for nature-based education, I currently serve as the Chair of Forest School Camps, a national charity committed to providing children with unforgettable camping experiences.My commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) extends beyond the classroom. For 3 years, I served as a DEI lead within my school, working tirelessly to create a more inclusive learning environment. I spearheaded the development of a comprehensive system for addressing instances of discrimination and played a key role in reimagining our curriculum to better represent the diverse world we live in. I'm enthusiastic about connecting with like-minded professionals who share my passion for education, the great outdoors, and social change.
