Design, development , deployment and maintenance of a website for Atlantic Surf Co. http://www.atlanticsurfco.co.zaThe website was developed using PHP, HTML & CSS with the aim to implement only CSS based layout in order to optimize the content for search engine discovery. It features an online ordering system to allow customers to order products online. (The order is however processed manually.) Designing and composing a bi-weekly newsletter sent to a database of around 2000 subscribers.

Design, development and deployment of a .Net Windows application to allow users to create and administer new and existing funeral policies. The largest and most complex component (that I wrote) of this system involved the processing of claims based on a variety of business rules. Once the system was in place I had to be available for support.

Design, development and deployment of an ASP .Net application used for dynamic content management for the Clicks Website. This project employs the Microsoft Data Access Application Block. An object oriented approach is used to create page templates and components that dynamically populate themselves based on the information loaded into the system.Design, development and deployment of an ASP .Net application used in job management and scheduling.Design, development and deployment of an ASP .Net application used to record new “jobs”. This project makes use of a windows client that employs a TCP Listener object, threading and an asynchronous callback.

Dynamix was one of the first companies to provide .Net training. I lectured all of the Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) curriculum courses as well as various others.
