As an experienced professional with over a decade of dedicated service in various leadership, analytical, and communication roles, I thrive on building strong relationships and driving impactful initiatives. My career has been marked by my ability to creatively solve problems, lead diverse teams, and communicate effectively both in English and Spanish.In my current role as a County Supervisors Analyst for Santa Cruz County, I've initiated the Young Supervisors Academy and maintained effective relationships with a variety of stakeholders. Prior to this, I significantly expanded student leadership programs and secured crucial funding in my role as the Student Leadership & Engagement Coordinator at the S.C. County Office of Education.My extensive campaign management experience includes defining and implementing strategies, managing resources, and recruiting and training a large team of volunteers. Notably, I helped elect the first Black County Supervisor in Santa Cruz County.Throughout my career, I have coordinated impactful programs such as Teen Peer Court, managed restorative justice circles, and led mock trial programs. I have also worked with students with disabilities, providing them with career opportunities and supporting their integration into the workforce.My volunteer work reflects my commitment to community service and justice. As Co-Chair of the Justice and Gender Commission and a Board Member of the Youth Resource Bank, I continue to contribute to meaningful causes.I hold a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and am always eager to learn and take on new challenges.
