I assess individual's physical needs and create a workout plan to reach their goals. I work with people of all ages from 12 to 90, but mainly in the retiree age group. I have successfully worked with athletes, joint replacements, weight management and Parkinson. I lead groups from five to 30 people in a 30 to 45 minute exercise class. I effectively instruct and monitor individuals on correct form of movements.I welcome members and potential members. I give tours of the facility to potential members and gladly answer any questions they may have. I complete new members paperwork by confirming their insurance information and entering the information into our system.I prepare and send out invoices to clients and members. I take payments by cash, check and card. I enter records into the Quickbooks system.I supervise interns from local high schools and colleges, but making sure they complete the task assigned to them. I teach the interns how to perform the daily task. I work with them to figure out the area they are most interested in learning about (personal training, business, group fitness, etc.), so they will get more experience in that certain area. I help to inspire their next course of action.I plan and prepare quarterly events for members to get to know each other. Events I have lead are 4th of July part with an entree and dessert contest, a Spirit week where members got to wear spirit theme clothing and fun relay races. (Most participants were 60+, so watching their youthfulness was truly thrilling.)I perform routine chores such as cleaning the equipment and facilities and washing and folding towels.

I securely put harness on customers and explained and demonstrated the safety procedures to them. I safely took customers through courses and ensured they were enjoying their experience. I would belay down customers who were too tired or just ready to come down. I cleaned and did safety inspection on equipment and courses.

I create and teach routines to 5-11 year olds at once and ensure they are performing the movements correctly. I work with an assortment of adolescence ages to teach tumbling skills from three year olds to 18 year-olds. I reach out to parents about practice, schedules, progress and any changes being made. I co-lead meetings for parents and children about the upcoming season and expectations. I mentor my athletes by instilling life lessons into the cheer experience as well as cheerleading skills such as honesty, dedication and teamwork. I love investing time to get to know their life off of the mat so they know I care about them more than just an athlete.
