Podiatry Student
CurrentEnthusiastic fully qualified podiatry graduate, who recently attained a first class BSc (hons) in podiatric medicine. Seeking employment, in either the private sector or the NHS environment. Fully qualified to carry out all aspects of podiatric medicine, including; routine care (nails, callus, corns etc), wound care using the aseptic non touch technique, sharps (scalpal debridement).I have a particular interest in biomechanics of the lower limb, hip, knee and foot and I am competent in prescribing orthoses, or exercises for common sports injuries, plantar fasciitis and other common biomechanical foot pathologies. Also qualified to perform minor foot surgery, including administration of local analgesia, for the treatment of ingrowing toenails and other lower limb pathologies such as verrucae via dry needling techniques. I am a stickler for punctuality, perfection and putting the patients wellbeing at the heart of all my practice. I keep upto date with new technologies and new foot paradigms and realise the importance of continual professional development. My professional practice is always in line with current evidence based practice.
