I have worked for 5 years as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, I have an Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, and a Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Sciences. I am currently going through a career change and pursuing both an Associate's degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering with an Assured Digital Microelectronics Education and Training Ecosystem minor. While pursuing those degrees I have also worked full time at the University of Dayton Research Institute as an Associate Software Technician gaining skills for both front end and back end software development, and learning a variety of programming languages, frameworks, and software development tools and systems. I hope to continue my education post graduation and pursue a graduate degrees. I studied abroad in South Korea for two semesters in 2023 where I studied Korean language at Chonnam National University and had an internship at Gwangju Institute for Science and Technology that was fully sponsored by the Focused Ultrasound Foundation. Additionally I have plans to participate in another study abroad program in Taiwan in 2024 and to return to study more in Korea in the future. I am currently employed as a Software Engineer at New Dawn Labs LLC. My passion is continuing to contribute to the medical field by working in product development for medical ultrasound technology so I can continue to positively impact the lives of patients and caregivers.
