I have completed my second year working in yr 1 as a teaching assistant. This is invaluable experience as I complete my degree with the view to teach full time. This past year my special focus as been working with children who have retention issues or who need re-inforcement and ongoing revision. I also worked with a SEN teacher in a nurture group for children with behavioural issues.I have done some tutoring after hours and aim to spend more time on this. I am very keen to explore educational alternatives for children with barriers to learning.This position also feeds my creative and organisational side and I enjoy coming up with creative ideas on the academically as well as in other areas.

I have decades of singing/performance experience but have been teaching since 2010.

I have been singing since the age of seven and professional since I left school. I have performed all over Africa, middle east, Beirut in various capacities. I perform most musical genres - jazz, pop, rock, cabaret and work solo and with various band formations. I have also done musical theatre working at 'the barnyard' theatre group in South Africa. My last theatre performance was September 2012 at the Madinet first group theatre in 'the fab four'. I have been teaching for four years privately but have also worked part-time teaching contemporary music at Repton school. I have recently become the UAE representative for the acclaimed Vocal institute Vidla based in the UK. I am performing on 'the Palm Jumeirah' at the moment as well as various corporate events.

I was a performer in the musical 'Girl talk'. During my time in the show we performed for Nelson Mandela as well as singing the national anthem at the IAAF games.We also performed at he Baxter theatre in Cape Town
