My role provides administrative assistance to the General Manager of Community and Protective Services and his staff within the division. In October 2019, the addition of assistance to the General Manager of Planning and Infrastructure and staff within the division was added to my job profile.In January 2024, an EA position was added due to the rapid growth of the city and the portfolio expansion in both divisions. I support the General Manager of Community and Protective Services, his staff with the division, and additional task force and committee support is provided as required (i.e. City Council Committees).

From June 2013 – March 2016 my role provided assistance to the Executive Director and Regional Vice President (ED&RVP) of Alberta and Northwest Territories (AB-NWT), his staff throughout AB-NWT, and the AB-NWT Division Advisory Board of Directors.In March 2016, the ED&RVP of the British Columbia and Yukon Territory added AB-NWT to his profile, to whom I supported in both regions along with his staff. Support to the Alberta Division Board of Directors remained and in addition, administrative assistance was provided to the Human Resources Manager of AB and BC.In May 2017, the ED&RVP became the Regional Vice President of Western Canada and an Executive Director was hired for the Alberta Division, both of whom I supported along with their staff. Support to the Alberta Division Board of Directors remained as well as administrative assistance continued to be provided to the Human Resources Manager of BC, AB, SK and MB.Assistance was also provided to the National Director, Government Relations and Advocacy and her staff throughout Canada from January 2012 until March 2015 at which time the position was moved to Ottawa.

The role provided support to the Vice President of Government Relations and Divisional Advancement and his staff throughout Canada.Upon retirement of the Vice President in 2012, the role primarily provided support to the Regional Manager, Client Services and her staff throughout Northern Alberta, as well as the National Director, Government Relations and Advocacy and her staff throughout Canada.
