I am in charge of all retail operations for a large Gift Gallery at a non-profit center for the arts. I make all the buying decisions for products in the store. I am responsible for staffing issues; hiring, training, discipline, and scheduling. In this position, I make every decision for the store beginning with what I purchase, pricing, budgeting, how to merchandise, and market. I have been given the authority to basically run the store as my own business. We have had a highly successful season with Profit increases over 2019 (pre-covid).
