Director for Career and Technical Education for a consortium of school districts which make up the Area 18 Cooperative. The counties being served are Adams, Blackford, Huntington, Jay, and Wells Counties. These counties consist of nine high schools in which CTE programs are housed and shared between the various neighboring counties' school systems. As director I will be overseeing the funding, purchasing, grant writing, increasing partnerships, collaboration with teachers and administration, collecting data and reporting to the Area 18 Cooperative Advisory Board. I am excited for this opportunity to work with such great school districts in the Area 18 Cooperative and be part of their Area 18 family of school districts.

Evaluation of 20 ESSER funded Building Instructional Coaches. Collaboration included discussion of goals, teaching strategies, implementation in classroom environment and data analysis of progress. Tracked department professional development and established within the professional development system. I collaborated with the Academic Development Coaching Team. Alignment of STEM opportunities with STEM 30 STEM Instructors throughout the district. Established accountable procedures for the procurement and delivery of curricula materials. Organized regular STEM Instructional meetings with coaches. Reviewed with STEM Instructors operating budget ceiling, cost of equipment and competitive event fees. Authored each month a regular informational newsletter to instructors on opportunities for STEM within Columbus area, teaching strategies, links to STEM/STEAM site information, competitive events schedule for VEX Robotics. While serving as a career & technical education director, I led the comprehensive Community Local Needs Assessment for the Perkins V Grant, ensuring local alignment. Oversaw professional development for CTE personnel. Moreover, I created the "Bring Back Plan," ensuring students' safe return during COVID.
