Working in Popular has definitely made me step out of my comfort zone of being a quiet person as I had to communicate with customers and cater to their needs. My job required me to answer customers' inquires, doing stocks transfer and wrapping books. I have learnt that communication is an important element in the service industry as it requires me to be a listener by knowing what are the needs of the customers and from there coming up with solutions to meet those needs. During this process, i was able to gain insights and knowledge, and experience how it's like in the workforce.

Working in this company has made me become a more organized and precise person as i was in charge of checking stocks and organizing parcels into specific categories, such as if the payment for the parcels were made by cash on delivery (COD) or were paid online. I also had to organize these parcels into specific dates and input the details of each parcel into the Microsoft Excel sheet. I had to be careful while handling these parcels as sorting the parcels wrongly or putting in wrong information about the parcel into the system would result in disruptions. One challenge that I faced when i was working was that during the Christmas Sale season, there was a huge number of parcels that we had to stock in and sort out, my colleagues and I had to finish the work quickly so that we could deliver the parcels to the customers on time. We managed to complete our work on time but, we had to sacrifice our time by working over time until late at night.
