For this job, my primary position was dispatching calls for other couriers to pick up specimens at hospitals while also doing my own route, picking up specimens at hospitals to bring to labs. Communication was key in this position between the hospitals or facilities. I also did blood courier runs on the weekend when it was needed.

I worked for this community outreach organization. Clients could get vouchers from the local Salvation Army store for items that they may need. We also had a food pantry and served meals daily to men, women, and children. On the financial side, I prepared the monthly stat reports. Another duty was to schedule the truck to pick up items that were being donated to the store. One thing that I enjoyed was the "Angel Tree" that goes on for Christmas. I would collect the toys and organize the lists for people to come to pick up the items for their children.
