Part Time Day Care Worker
Springhill Babtist Daycare Center
Mobile, Alabama, United States
During my tenure as a substitute educator at the daycare facility affiliated with a local ecclesiastical institution in my native locale, I fulfilled responsibilities across all age groups, ranging from infants as young as 8 weeks old to toddlers and nearly preschool-aged children. In my role, I provided essential care and supervision for infants, including feeding, diaper changes, and facilitating their social interactions within the classroom setting. For toddlers, I not only attended to their basic needs but also endeavored to instill principles of fairness and equitable play. Additionally, with the older cohort nearing preschool age, I introduced rudimentary educational concepts into their daily routines to foster early learning development.Typically, my shifts extended over a duration of four hours, albeit occasionally extending up to eight hours to accommodate the operational needs of the daycare facility. Operating as a substitute, I seamlessly assumed the duties of both teachers and teaching assistants in instances of their absence due to illness or other exigencies. On average, my weekly commitment encompassed approximately 12 hours, subject to minor fluctuations as dictated by the demands of the role.
