I am an extremely loyal individual and love seeing a job well done - irrespective of hours, blood, sweat and tears. I tend to be a dish on the perfectionist side with a side portion of pedantic which makes me a workaholic. I enjoy healthy conflict so work is work - where is the fluff? I dislike unfair play and injustice but such is the world and I can't fix everything. Through my time at Style Studio and Crocs SA, I've learned so much which has confirmed my love and enjoyment for the retail industry. The retail teams are the heart of the business :) I've worked within the Clicks Head Office as a supplier during my time with the Style Studio team and was responsible for our brands within the Clicks stores, offering beauty training to key store sales personnel, driving sales, promoting excellent customer service and pioneered the first Clicks Curls event in 2017. This event continues to this day! I thoroughly enjoyed working with the teams in various stores across most provinces, although the Western Cape and Gauteng were the 2 main areas at that time. Style Studio owned 5 retail stores offering premium quality hair care products alongside award-winning services in Cape Town, Gauteng and Pretoria. With Crocs SA, I thrived in the high-paced environment working along the amazing retail teams as well as collaborating with and reporting to our EMEA management of the business. It was a privilege to work for an amazing and ever growing brand such as Crocs, whose trending products are tickling taste buds across generations. With stores in all major cities, as well as the online store, customers have no reason not to own a pair *wink* While working with Cindy’s Swim School, I operated as an Independent Contractor and contributed a great deal in in-depth processing, elevating customer service and sales all while working with a smaller team. It was a great experience, all conducted remotely between the UK and SA, and I am proud to have contributed to further developing processes and sales achievements. I enjoy sales in it's entirety - the stresses, the pace, the challenges, they're all part of the role - and so are the wins! I still believe that hard work does pay off and that each team member is responsible for the store/business's success. I enjoy collaboration, deadlines, goals, strategic planning, successful execution, and ultimately elevating and leading teams from within.I am lifelong learner and try to keep abreast of trending matters as far as possible. If we are to spend most of our time working, then let it be something we enjoy!
