Delivering uncompromising care to all clients, which include internal and external stakeholders of the hospital group, management of the efficiency around billing processes for stock and medication between the hospital and various medical aid companies,department administration duties, management of accuracy of account pertaining to the billing rules of both the hospital and the medical aid schemes from admission to discharge. participate in risk management workshops within the hospital to adhere to protocols and procedures in place.obtaining pre-authorisation from medical aid for patients who would be having additional procedures whist in hospital,billing of patients in line with manual processes and requirements, assisting case management when 1 is on leave and performing ward rounds to obtain medical information on the patients condition to send to medical aid, performing daily updates to the on site case manager's, regarding the patients condition in order for them to update the relevant medical aid.
