I am currently a student at LaGuardia Community studying for an associate's in Film and Television. I've had a passion for film and television I was a child. I was and still am inspired by storytelling. In the past, I was under a fellowship with The Ghetto Film school that teaches and encourages students about film and creative positions in the industry. At the end of the fellowship year, there are two 15 minute short films made, one made abroad in another country and the other shot at the Frick Museum. I was selected as editor and script supervisor for a short film shot in Israel, named Be Free. Be Free is a film set in 1937 British Palestine mandate about an orphaned teen who saves the life of a young girl. Now I'm part of an internship at MediaMKRS career exploration program that provides work readiness training, helps hopefuls expand their network, and gives work experience for those who want a future career in media. personally, I am expanding my technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills. I know Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop. I consider myself to be detail-oriented, analytical, and a quick learner with no qualms about learning new Software. I wish to continue pursuing a career in the industry. My goals for the future are to one day become an editor and colorist. Soon, I would like to work as an assistant editor or post-production assistant.
