Hello, I recently graduated from Trinity High School and will be attending Northwestern University's Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences with the intention of double majoring in Biological Sciences and minoring in Global Health. In high school I was a member of the executive council, an officer of Students Aligned for Equity and Empowerment and Anime Club, so I do have experience hosting and planning events. I also volunteered at Wonder Works Children's Museum and did cross-country, soccer, and track and field. My experiences as a caddie and participant in the WGA Caddie Academy have helped me to expand my network along with building the communication skills and confidence to do so. I developed a strong work ethic and resilience that is often hard to find elsewhere. I am passionate about social justice and medicine, more specifically, changing the way that medicine is practiced. My goal is to become a pediatrician that also works to find ways to make healthcare more accessible to low-income families, as well as raise awareness of the importance of mental health and the impacts of childhood adversity on physical well-being.
