Celeste Rivera, Ph.D., BCC, is a board certified executive coach based in New York who works with executives from the international and expat community that want to do focused, goal-oriented work to improve their professional lives. In her practice she specializes in leadership development, career transitions and cross-cultural issues. Her work also includes coaching for presence and communication skills with executives in at financial services firms such as Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse.Dr. Rivera received her coaching training from the College of Executive Coaching and is a member of the Institute of Coaching, Mclean/Harvard Medical School. She works as an executive coach with IESE Business School as part of their Executive Education Programs.She is a Certified Family Business Advisor and provides consulting/coaching to family owned and operated businesses facing challenges with leadership transitions, conflict management and organizational development.In addition to her work as an executive coach, she is a licensed psychologist. She has a doctorate in psychology from the University of Puerto Rico and completed her clinical training at the NYU-Bellevue Hospital Clinical Psychology Program. She is also part of the Rome Institute team of counselors who provide briefings, counseling and support to multiple agencies that are part of the United Nations such UNDP, UNHCR, UNFPA, UNwomen and the World Bank.Dr. Rivera speaks four languages (Spanish, English, French and Italian) and has lived in Puerto Rico, France, Italy, and the United States.
