I’m Celeste Roberts, and I love helping people young and old, especially new moms and dads find ways to reduce stress, get rest for themselves, and bring comfort to those they love. My first occupation was as a massage therapist for a chiropractor, where I enjoyed providing pain relief and therapy to customers using a variety of medical technologies, including heat therapy, muscle stimulation and ultra-sound. The chiropractor I worked for also used Chinese acupuncture. In that occupation I saw the tremendous value of using multiple modality approaches in helping patients find pain relief. I enjoyed helping others because I myself had back and neck pain from a car injury and knew how beneficial these various therapies were to me.Later-- fast forwarding through college, marriage and a music directing career -- when I became a mom, I found I had a new problem to solve besides pain relief – getting sleep. If only I could teach my youngest girl to get to sleep on her own and stay in her own bed, rather than crawling in with me where it was warm – I’d get a full night’s rest. By chance one evening, when I was nursing a sore neck with a warm “bed buddy” neck wrap, my 5-year old daughter felt the soothing warmth of the wrap when I gave her a hug goodnight and asked if she could have it. I relented, wrapped it around her shoulders and off to sleep she went. From that night on, with the warm wrap comforting her, I never had a problem again with getting her to sleep nor getting awakened early in the morning by her crawling into my warm bed. Miraculous! That gave me the idea, since she also loved stuffed animals, to invent a stuffed animal with an inner heating pack and thus Snuggables was born. As I sought to start up my new company, I found that there were a couple of manufacturers already producing these stuffed animals along with other heating pad products. I then partnered with the best of those manufacturers, Warm Buddy Company, becoming their sole USA distributor online.Now my mission is to provide comfort, pain relief and sleep assistance to people and pets in the USA and the world through these wonderful products.
