My position at Tomco Harwel required me to be a service liaison to our customer base. While filling customer order requests I worked with the procurement and production departments to schedule orders based on specific requests. Additionally as office manager I was responsible for direct and web marketing effort to acquire new customers.I enjoyed getting to know my distributors and customers. As I learned their business, ordering habits and timelines, I anticipated their needs to help them grow their business. By talking with and listening to my customers, I could understand and respond to their unique requirements.

I had two management responsibilities - Office Manager and Customer Support Manager. In addition to directing multiple employees, I was the clearinghouse for every order processed through this multi-million dollar chemical distribution facility. I implemented process improvements that increased order accuracy and profitability.Daily I coordinated with operations and inventory managers to accurately fill and complete orders. I worked with internal and external logistics management including coordinating shipments of hazardous materials, reviewing drivers logs and scheduling diverse vehicles for transportation. As trainer I created a curriculum or used prepared materials to train professional and volunteer leaders. In addition, I directed the sales, distribution and logistics process for the annual Boy Scout fund raising project. I directed multiple camps which included developing the program of activities for over 300 boys. I recruited, trained and managed over 100 adult and junior staff. My experiences in Scouting have perfected my professional approach to dealing with bold personalities in difficult, sometimes stressful situations.

I recruited, trained and directed volunteers. I managed the pastoral staff schedules, budgets and projects which included maintaining confidential records and communications. I scheduled and managed events involving the facilities and designed and published communications including web announcements, email and mailings, and weekly bulletins.
