About Celeste Simmons, Ph.D.

As the owner of Family Forensic Focus, I provide psychological services for children and families involved in legal matters, such as custody disputes, abuse allegations, and criminal cases. I have a Ph.D. in Clinical Forensic Psychology and a passion for helping children and families navigate complex and challenging situations. I also have 6+ years of experience as a psychologist and an adjunct faculty, working with diverse populations and teaching graduate courses in psychology. In my previous role as a psychologist at Aria Community Health Center, I specialized in treatment and assessment of adolescents with mental health and substance abuse issues. As an adjunct faculty at Antioch University Santa Barbara, I taught courses on family forensic psychology. I have strong skills in treatment, working with adolescents, psychology, and forensic psychology. I have also contributed to the development and implementation of evidence-based programs and interventions for youth and their families. My core competencies include clinical assessment, diagnosis, intervention, consultation, research, and education. My mission is to apply my expertise and knowledge to promote the well-being and justice of children and families in the legal system.
