🌟 Exciting Career Journey Update 🌟 I feel incredibly fortunate to have spent the majority of my career in the dynamic logistics industry, all with Pilot. Now, we've become an integral part of the Maersk family, which is a testament to the impressive journey we've been on. My logistics career began as a green sales executive in beautiful San Diego back in 1999. The amazing Pilot team I joined took me under their wing, and I quickly fell in love with the logistics world, our valued customers, and the innovative solutions we brought to the table. The most vital lessons I've learned over the years? Always strive to fully understand your customers' needs and tackle challenges with unwavering honesty and integrity. In 2005, I made the move to Las Vegas and took some time off to cherish moments with my growing family. When I was ready to rejoin the workforce, I reached out to the local Pilot office. Fast forward 14 years, and I had the privilege of working with one of the industry's best teams. With my sales background and the teams laser focus on customer needs, we managed to transform our operation from a small team with 10 employees, 5 trucks, and 8,000 square feet of space into a thriving enterprise with over 50 employees, 25 trucks, and multiple warehouses spanning more than 200,000 square feet. This remarkable growth didn't happen overnight; it was the result of sheer determination, hard work, and an exceptional team. Now, in 2023, I've embarked on a new adventure, returning to the sales side in a regional capacity, while leaving the LAS terminal in very capable hands. My husband and I have made sunny Florida our new home, and have transitioned from land lubbers, to living on our boat. With over 23 years of industry knowledge under my belt, I'm here to support and grow our business in the southeastern US. Collaborating with yet another phenomenal team, and now with end-to-end supply chain capabilities at our disposal, I'm excited to say that the sky is truly the limit!
