Responsibilities and achievement include the following:1. Successfully concluded the F1 contract renewal and spearheaded work streams such as term review consultancy project, cost-benefit analysis, project evaluation, project funding and approvals. 2. Managed the race cancellation process for the 2020’s F1 race due to the Covid situation and ensured that costs are kept to a minimum for the government by reviewing the contractual terms and scenario planning .3. Managed all F1 funding, grant, audit and legal matters and resolved issues by implementing process improvements. E.g. Streamlined the invoice process which resolved long outstanding payment issues with race promoter and eliminated future late interest issues. This led to a significant reduction in processing time required by both teams and a smoother reimbursement.

Responsibilities and achievements include the following:1. Secured Management and Board’s approval on the budget for the annual work plans. Led the FP&A team and reported directly to the CFO for monthly reporting and annual budget exercise, in the absence of middle management. 2. Successfully rolled out the SAP budget module and spearheaded the module’s system design, user acceptance testing, implementation and training.3. Troubleshoot ongoing SAP budget issues. E.g. Resolved a budget check issue by implementing a workaround solution which enabled the financial operations team to close the accounts on time.4. Achieved budget utilisation rate by striking a balance between having sufficient funds for projects to meet payment milestones and holding excess funds due to potential project delays. 5. Resolved potential budget issues and improve overall budget utilisation by identifying and reallocating funds for projects with higher risk of delay to other projects.
