I have worked in Nevada for around 15+ years on many projects throughout Nevada including M&A's, open pit and underground, worked on Long Canyon from pre-acquisition, through acquisition, through Stage Gate and into production up until the Joint Venture, NGM. Also, got to take Emigrant through Stage Gate, production. I have been a manager for over 7 years with a diverse group of resource modelers whom come from different backgrounds including mine engineering, geology, chemistry, geometallurgy and various other disciplines all across the globe. I have worked on both sides of the spectrum for a one recipe fits all approach as well as the approach of find what works well, efficient and is best (this is where knowledge grows and theories are tested). I was responsible for rolling up reconciliation for over 11 years and now just use it as a means of calibrating/gauging the block model reconciliation for what is mined (especially with the multi-process deposits that are blended together). I understand Business Planning vs. Long Range goals. I am a very loyal, dedicated and hard working professional and I use many years of Leadership training, relationship building and empathy to work individually and in a team. I love managing a team as well as keeping up to date on technology, utilizing python, gslib and Vulcan mostly and starting to dabble in RMSP. Have utilized many methods of estimation from basic linear to nonlinear as well as utilizing and learning conditional simulation clear through a drillhole spacing and uncertainty study. I also work very closely with all key stakeholders ranging from engineering, geology, metallurgy, environmental, geotech, hydro, etc. Training/Mentoring is my passion to hopefully one day lead to a job teaching at a University. I got the opportunity to audit mines in Ghana back in 2018, presented at the SME Conference in 2019 and helped build the presentation for the SME Conference in 2016. I'm open, honest and transparent; I don't have a recipe, I have a set of tools and knowledge. My team always comes first, my tasks come last. I can read a room and I constantly strive for good change, innovation driving and leading upwards for a better future. I'm still fully learning, growing, willing to change and have been through a lot of change, always looking for the next innovation or idea to move the needle.
