Responsible for Carlin Complex (open pit and underground) Resource Modelers, peer review, guidance, initiating and maintaining company and industry standards as related to the Resource models. Provide assistance with tools using Python, gslib, Vulcan, Power Bi, Leapfrog, JMP. Maintain and promote cross functional and across site relationships among all key stakeholders as related to resource modeling.Update resource models as needed for business plan, forecast and Resource & Reserve. Currently responsible for updating Gold Quarry and Tri-star resource models that are multi-process/variable using Localised Indicator Kriging, calibration and validation to reconciliation or DGM in domains that don't contain production data. Assist as needed at other sites within Nevada Gold Mines as well as assisting other departments including Metallurgy helping with Bingo charts for test work, Long term planners with troubleshooting and creation of business plans and resources and reserves, ore control with troubleshooting and routing ore, geology with targeting, development, training, modeling and historic knowledge.Assist with updating grade control parameters in relation to variogram, domaining, methodology, capping, revenue scripting, cutoffs and other assumptions.Assist with updating reconciliation values monthly and with providing explanations related to resource modeling for forecast, business planning and reserves. Ensure projects are SOX compliant utilizing site control measures.Power user for the short term automated resource system, work closely with Resource Modeling Solutions to implement across the Complex and in the region as well as testing and upgrading with innovative solutions to add value.Power user of the infill optimizer, provide training companywide, guidance, troubleshooting for Python, Vulcan, computer setup and input for the infill optimizer. Provide innovative ideas for optimizing the solutions for the optimizer.
