I'm a graduate from the University of North Texas. My Bachelor's Degree is in journalism with a concentration in Public relations and a minor in sociology. From August to December 2019 I interned as a public relations specialist at SWOOP Agency, a student led Advertising agency at UNT. In the summer of 2018 I had the opportunity to study abroad in Japan with the Mayborn School of Journalism at UNT and was able to visit different media and public relations agencies. Seeing the work those organizations do as well as speaking to the directors and executives, I was able to improve my presentation and communication skills. Working with other Japanese college students also helped me strengthen my own abilities by overcoming language barriers and it also led me to understand and appreciate cultural differences. I am now even more independent and confident in what I want to do after graduating. I hope to continue my personal and professional growth in order to be prepared for future challenges.
