I’m motivated by good design and working with talented designers and developers. I love seeing what a team can create to solve problems by using design thinking and processes.As a strategic thinker and practical planner, I’ve delivered projects within agencies for large organisations such as Sony Music, Nike, and Syngenta, and Government Ministries including the Ministry for Social Development and the Ministry for the Environment. I also have in-house experience working on an early-stage product within a Web3 start-up. I oversee all stages of a design process to ensure a clear line of sight from briefing to delivery as well as keeping stakeholders and clients connected and informed throughout. I’m comfortable working in the grey, when there’s still exploration around the best approach and solution to use to reach intended audiences. I manage and support teams throughout projects so that they can focus and use their skills effectively. I do this by creating a common understanding of the scope of work and the parameters to work within, ensuring skills, tasks and timings are aligned. While I’ve worked in many different sectors including music, transport, sport, agriculture, finance and professional services, I’m up for learning new industries and taking on new challenges.
