Founding member of the California Indian Nations College Strategic Planning Committee (CINC SPC). CINC SPC is a coalition of constituents from the local Indian Community within the Southern California region and has been an integral part of an initiative supported by Chancellor Wilcox and the UCR Chancellor’s Native American Advisory Committee to create a Tribal College for all Indigenous Nations in- and outside the state of California. The CINC SPC is comprised of over 35 members with a goal to establish a two-year accredited college with a curriculum that incorporates indigenous culture, native language preservation along with the re-institutionalization of traditional Native American values. With this goal, CINC will inevitably serve as a pipeline for future UC and CSU student population.Today there are currently 38 accredited Tribal Colleges within the United States of America with most positioned in the North and Northwest and not one accredited Tribal college is located within the State of California. CINC will be a monumental movement for the future of our indigenous people along the southwest region.With this said,the continued dedication from each CINC Strategic Planning Committee member, the CINC team, along with the continued support from its partners will be the leading accredited Tribal College within the State of California.
