About Celeste Walker
Acting is my greatest joy. It is my place of passion and liberation. The great acting teacher Sanford Meisner said, “Acting is living truthfully in imaginary circumstances.”I do not lose myself in the characters I play, but rather allow them to live through me. I give them a voice. I tell their stories. Whether I am playing Dorothy Parker, Maria Callas, or a character from the imagination of the playwright, I look for their truth, their struggle, their humanity, and partner that with the “magic if.” What would I do if… I was trained as a “Method” actor. However, I prefer my mentor, Sam Schact ‘s process. I use whatever it takes to tell the story. My job is to lead the audience on a journey through the world of the character. Solo performance is both terrifying and liberating. I have chosen solo performing because, I have stories of my own and I have a lot to say.My mission is to bring cinematic quality performances that move and inspire audiences. With years of experience and a passion for storytelling, I'm here to deliver compelling and unforgettable performances that will stay with you long after the curtain falls.Sample of accomplishments:• Developed & conducted workshop Courtroom Drama: Acting Techniques for Attorneys© approved by the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Association. •Presented at New York State Bar Association Commercial and Federal Litigation Section Spring Meeting. on the panel, ATTORNEYS, ACTORS & THE ART OF ORAL ADVOCACY w/Hon.
