Celeste van Graan, a professional in the food industry with more than 4 years experience. Her journey started at Stellenbosch University where she decided in her first year to switch faculties, from Science to Agriscience. She graduated in December 2019 with a Bachelor of Food Science from the most prestige and top Agriscience faculty in Africa. During her tertiary education, she worked for 11 weeks at RFG Foods (Pty) Ltd conducting various validation studies. Two weeks before her graduation ceremony, she landed a graduate internship of 12 months as the Food Safety Systems Intern. She gained significant experience and added value in this internship that she was promoted to the Systems Technologist at RFG Foods where she worked for 4+ years. She started her new chapter at Freddy Hirsch Group as the Food Safety Systems Specialist in July 2024.
