I completed a hairdressing course in 2002 and was awarded the student of the year trophy at the end of my studies. I then started my career at Salon Vogue where I worked for 6 months after which I joined Jovem Eterno hair and beauty salon, where I worked up to October 2022 when we relocated to the Netherlands. At Jovem Eterno I designed long-term personalized care plans for over 30 long-term clients with various types of hair and nails. I performed hair and nail maintenance for weekly and monthly clients. And developed and deepened customer relationships by building loyalty and promoting referrals to increase my customers base. I also modernized salon treatments by staying up to date on all systems and assisted the salon owner as acting manager to improve operational efficiencies and resolving issues to deliver the highest levels of customer service. Working as a hairdresser in an established salon also gave me the opportunity to learn other skills such nail art and treatments.I am passionate about making people feel good about their hair or nails as you can immediately see how it improves there confidence levels and I find it extremely rewarding seeing a satisficed customer walking out of the salon.
